What is a "Career Clarity Certification"?
In 2011, Resume Not Required launched a full scale education initiative with the opening of its Job Resource Center. At the heart of the center is the Career Clarity Certification (CCC) Program. The mission of the program is to give job seekers the tools, resources, self awareness and motivation to acquire the job they want, while at the same time educating employers on the importance of hiring someone who has taken steps to ensue their job success by investing in the program.
The CCC Program is a five (5) week course designed to teach job seekers everything they need to know to carve out an effective job search and get them to the top of the candidate pool. The CCC Program accounts for the pitfalls job seekers face in the current jobs marketplace, and how emerging technologies have oftentimes hindered, not helped, the job search process. Classes are differentiated based on experience level, and are applicable to both employed and unemployed job seekers at any stage in their life, from recent graduates to retired military personnel.
At the end of the program, students will be able to designate completion of the CCC Program on any written correspondence, similar to that of a MBA and PhD. It has been proven time and time again, companies look at someone who has been proactive in their career success as someone who will be proactive at work. Akin to the hiring successes brought on by the designation of a Six Sigma Certification, as awareness and demand for the CCC designation increases, so will the interview and hiring odds for those who hold them!
Employers Can Take Advantage Too! Customizable training packages are available to employers looking to revamp their hiring practices or increase employee engagement. Employers looking to provide job support services to transitioning personnel can take advantage of specialized CCC classes designed as an effective alternative to outplacement.
CCC Class for Entry to Mid Level Job Seekers - Certification class for Entry to Mid Level job seekers held on site one day a week for 5 weeks. Each class will be ~2 hours in length and focus on issues relevant to this job bracket including higher competition pools, ‘last in, first out’ policies, and how to quantify value in order to move up the ladder.
CCC Class for Senior to Executive Level Job Seekers - Certification class for Senior to Executive Level job seekers held on site one day a week for 5 weeks. Each class will be ~2 hours in length and focus on issues relevant to this job bracket including ageism, how to change industries, and negotiating equity and signing bonuses.
All Classes Contain the Following Core Competencies:
• Analysis of past professional experiences;
• Establishing the key ingredients for job success;
• Committing to immediate and long term objectives;
• Choosing appropriate target industries and companies;
• Implementing effective job search practices;
• Helping to identify job openings;
• Instruction and preparation for interviews/meetings;
• Handling rejection: Turning “No’s” into “Yes’s”;
• Strategic and tactical salary and benefits negotiations.
Alternative to Outplacement Services - Employers looking to modernize their traditional outplacement services can take advantage of the CCC Program by offering displaced employees a tangible product like the CCC. Providing employees with the knowledge and tools necessary to further career development and increase rehiring odds can go a long way towards enriching overall compensation packages, and in turn goodwill towards former employers.

The CCC Program can be offered as a stand alone product to universities, colleges, high schools, and learning institutes on a national and international scale.
